Graham Withers
Managing Director
Graham joined Peregrine & Black in June 2019 and is an investment manager specialising in managing segregated portfolios for wealthy private clients, trusts and charities. He also has strong relationships with IFAs and their clients.
Graduating from university in 1991 with a BSc Econ (Hons) in Modern History and Politics, Graham joined the provincial stockbrokers Neilson Cobbold with whom he trained. Qualifying as a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, at Diploma level, Graham became an Associate Director of the company at the age of 25. In 1996 Rathbones acquired Neilson Cobbold and in 2000 Graham was appointed a Fellow of the Securities Institute. He worked as an Investment Director at Rathbones for 25 years in total before joining Peregrine & Black.
He is Chairman of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Private Client Investment Advice & Management Examination Panel (PCIAM) and is a long-standing member of the CISI Wealth Management Pathway Qualifications Assessment Board and the CISI Examination Board.

Nick Marshall
Head of Fund Solutions
Nick joined Peregrine & Black Investment Management in January 2016 and is responsible for providing fund recommendations for the business and managing bespoke models. Nick started his career working for the Guinness family office and subsequently moved to Smith & Williamson in 2005 and spent just under 10 years where he worked on the multi manager team and was responsible for running and providing fund solutions across a range of strategies for investors and clients. He was also responsible for recommending European and Emerging Market funds for the Private Client teams and sat on the Collectives Committee for the firm. Nick holds a Masters degree in International Financial Analysis and is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute.

Chris Redman
Head of Responsible Investment Solutions
Chris joined Peregrine & Black Investment Management in December 2018 from Raymond James Investment Services where he established and ran the East Kent branch. Chris has over 30 years’ experience in investment management, having held senior investment positions with Gerrard Investment Management, Barclays Wealth and Collins Stewart. During this time Chris established the global Private Equity service for Barclays Wealth and at Raymond James, launched and managed a leading AIM IHT portfolio service and the ESG investment service. Chris currently leads PBIMs IHT Portfolio and the ESG portfolio service, whilst also offering a local Investment Management offering for private clients in Kent.
Chris is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, holds an Executive MBA and a Degree in Mining Engineering. He has lectured widely on corporate finance and investment processes.

Harry Coles
Investment Manager
Harry started his career at Jupiter Asset Management in 2012, working alongside Oliver and Phil, moving with them when the department was sold to Rathbones in 2014.
While at Rathbones, Harry progressed to Investment Manager after completing the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification. He managed portfolios for direct private clients and intermediated clients working closely with Financial Advisors, Accountants and Solicitors. He also managed portfolios for Trusts, Charities, and foreign resident clients. He was a voting member and secretary for the company’s Portfolio Construction Committee, playing a key role in managing Rathbone central investment strategies.
Harry joined Peregrine & Black in August 2024, continuing to manage a range of portfolios and for clients across the world.

Ian Marsden
Investment Manager
Ian has over 15 years’ experience in financial services and has managed both bespoke and model portfolios for private clients, charities, and trusts. He has sat on Fund Selection and Alternative investments committees and has been quoted in publications including Investors Chronicle, Investment Week, and Citywire Wealth Manager. Ian prides himself on providing a highly personal and tailored service to each client, whether they be individuals or professional advisors, such as IFAs, solicitors, and accountants.
He began his career supporting Investment Managers and after gaining his investment management qualifications, moved to an investment management role with Redmayne Bentley in 2014. In 2022 Ian moved to Oberon Investments. He joined Peregrine & Black as an Investment Manager in December 2024.
A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and Chartered Wealth Manager, Ian holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economic & Social History from the University of Bristol and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Durham University Business School. In 2022 he was voted “Wealth Manager of the Year (male)” in the City of London Wealth Management Awards (COLWMA) based on client votes.

Nick Palmer
Investment Director
Nicholas joined Peregrine and Black Investment Management in 2017 and is responsible for providing discretionary investment management services. He started his career in financial services in 2007 working within private client and institutional investment management. In 2008 Nicholas joined an office of Raymond James Investment services where he completed his training and became a Chartered Fellow of the CISI. Here Nicholas gained valuable experience working his way up to become an Investment Manager where he helped to manage portfolios for trusts, charities and families as well as a fund within the Investment association mixed asset sectors. Nicholas joined Attivo Investment Management in 2015 where he helped to establish the London office and sat on the Investment committee, fund selection and equity committees.

Nigel Rosner
Investment Director
Nigel joined Peregrine & Black Investment Management in 2019 as an Investment Director with responsibility for managing private client portfolios and mandates on behalf of Trusts, Charities, Pension Funds, Corporates, High Net Worth families and has a comprehensive knowledge covering The Court of Protection.
Nigel provides tailored Investment advice, clearly & thoroughly, over a broad range of Investment strategies and works closely with professional intermediaries, Solicitors, Accountants & IFA's.
Having spent 23 years at Charles Stanley, Nigel has gained invaluable industry experience working in the City & in Mayfair. He started his career in Financial Services at Societe Generale Strauss Turnbull, followed by the Stockbroking division of Raphael Zorn Hemsley & more recently, the private client Investment office of EFG, the Swiss private bank.
Nigel holds an LL.B ( Hons ) degree in Law & is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment ( FCSI ), a holder of The Securities Institute Diploma and is also a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Peter Pearson-Lund
Strategic Advisor
Peter Pearson Lund has been a senior figure in the Fund Management Industry for over 40 years, having held a number of senior positions, most notably as Managing Director of Henderson Administration and CEO of Gartmore Fund Managers. Peter joined Rathbones as CEO of Rathbones Unit Trust Management in 1999 where he was responsible for the development and growth of the business over the following twelve years. Peter joined Peregrine & Black Investment Management in 2015.
